After our beautiful Halong Bay cruise we took the long road back to Hanoi and had a few bits and pieces to do like picking up the clothes that had been made for Diane, Cam and Gem.
We were tired and probably all felt we could do without the planned cyclo ride but it turned out to be an amazing and thrilling experience. The streets were night time streets were just as crowded as the day with more lights, more families eating their meals and more neon and bright lights.
After our fabulous cyclo ride we decided we didn't really need to go out to dinner. Gemma went on a mission and returned with Carr's water crackers and some New Zealand cheddar. Cam cut into the cheddar and declared it felt as soft and creamy as butter. We quickly established that it looked, smelled and tasted like butter so decided it was probably butter and not quite what we felt like with our crackers and wine!
The next morning it was off to the airport to fly to Hue. On the way we picked up another Wide-Eyed tour guide who was heading out to the airport to meet another group. She answered all our questions enthusiastically.
We said our good-byes to an always smiling Mr Anh and were off on our next adventure.
